Trey Whitfield School students continue to outperform New York City fourth graders and District 19 on the English Language Arts Exam (by 17 points) and on the Math State Exam (by 11 points).  TWS is especially pleased with the gains made by the eighth grade class whose ELA scores were 26 points higher in 2008.  8th grade math scores were 48 points higher than the previous year's.  At 97% achieving level 3's and 4's in both ELA and Math, the class of 2008 is the highest performing 8th grade class in the School's history.
