Technology
Through various NYC Board of Education opportunities and donations from generous
contributors, Trey Whitfield School continues to build its technology programs
Since 2006-2007, TWS has partnered with P.S. 158 in a technology project called East New York: Then and Now. Students have been engaged across many content areas as they learn about the area in which their school is located. Trey Whitfield School students use Study Island as a means of reinforcing, topics taught in the classroom. Each student from kindergarten through eighth grade is provided a Study Island user name and password. Teachers regularly assign Study Island topics for homework in addition to traditional homework assignments. |
